Happy birthday Marijke!

As a surprise our two daughters (Vogel & Fee) flew to Italy and were there when we arrived early tuesday morning. It was Marijke's 60th birthday! Everything was ready: the birthday cake, champagne, baloons, etc. Marijke could not believe her eyes ..

DOE MAAR! de musical

Last night, Marijke and I went to DOE MAAR, de musical. Not because of sentiments, but because of Jakob Klaasse (first in row), the musical director, old time friend and musical partner of Idiot Records. So the music was good, but the play was of 'high school quality'.

Strangely, the guys of Doe Maar were about the same age (32) as their audience (old fans) to their music now, Perhaps (mostly girls) who were fainting of hysteria at the time were now understanding the lyrics at last ..

Also, I finally made a deal with Jan Rot to put all of his repertoir in the iTunes Music Store.

Three rainbows

Last monday, the weather was terrible. But during a cigarette break at the AKI, we had a sunny period aand all at once there were three rainbows!

Fascination

Final Exams are on their way. But some students haven't the slightest idea what they are doing or what's for sale in this world. Some dull bonnets! It is our duty to point them in the right direction. Where's the fascination for a subject and the knowledge of it?

Orange, T-Mobile or Vodafone?

Apple is looking to team up with a single mobile operator for its iPhone in Europe.

Pascal Cagni, vice president for Europe at Apple, told German IT publication Heise that the move would allow the company to roll out new services more easily. But he added that, if a single mobile operator is not possible, Apple will cooperate with multiple partners. Operators with a large European presence include Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone.
The iPhone is slated for availability in the US by June through Cingular at prices ranging from $499 to $599.

Apple is preparing to start shipping the iPhone in Europe by the end of this year, but has not yet disclosed pricing for the region.

Keep an eye on when your mobile subcription ends and/or when to end it!
